Avocado

Avocados can be grown in protected parts of Northeast Florida, but cultivar cold tolerance, drainage, and freeze protection are critical. Mexican and Mexican-hybrid types are generally the best candidates for colder sites.

Avocado Care Basics

Sun: Full sun with good air movement.
